Dream Seven

This particular dream is quite personal, though very interesting when I try to deduce its meaning. Last night I had a dream involving the guy I am interested in. In the dream I was hanging out with close friends and we were all headed to Moscow, Idaho for dinner. There was a large group of us, including the guy I have been seeing for the past few months. We went to dinner, with noting particularly interesting to report. The conversation, in a sense, was rather mundane. This dream seems uniquely parallel to real life; quite honestly, similar situations and get-togethers occur all the time. After dinner, we were gathering at the vehicles to decide who would be traveling home with whom. It was at this time that the guy I am interested in disappeared. This is quite reflective of real life, as he often leaves events quite abruptly or without notice to anyone else. Even my dream self was frustrated with this move. From here, I cannot remember the details of how we got into the cars; nonetheless, the next thing I remember is being in a vehicle with friends on my way home to Pullman. In the dream, I text my friend asking where he had gone. He told me that he was buying a truck, at that very minute. I have no idea why this is, or why my dream self did not take note of the fact that it was incredibly late in the dream. Next thing I can remember from the dream, I was in his newly purchased truck. It seems that I "teleported," for lack of a better word, from my friend's vehicle into the truck of the boy I am interested in.

Dream Six

Last night, I had the most peculiar dream! I dreamt that I was visiting friends from home on a break from school. For some unknown reason, we were gathered in a vacant parking lot in downtown Seattle. Being from an upper-middle class suburban area, this is a highly unrealistic location to get together with friends. We were driving away when we were struck by a semi-truck. The truck caused enormous damage, totaling the car. In the dream, I was barely conscious but realized that a friend was horrifically wounded. This friend happens to be more of an acquaintance; he is, in fact, the brother of one of my best friends who only occasionally hangs out with us. Jared had an enormous cut across his leg, revealing a severed artery. In the dream, I immediately grabbed the artery hoping to stop the bleeding. When the ambulance arrived, I was told that I had to maintain pressure on the wound or Jared would bleed out in seconds. Upon arrival at the hospital, we were greeted by the staff as if we were frequent visitors. Even my dream self could not understand how the hospital staff knew us so well. When I took another look at Jared, he had changed. Now, rather than holding Jared's wound together, I was assisting an unknown African American woman. I have never seen this young woman before, though my dream self was unconcerned with this transformation. Most interestingly, it was not until I woke up that I realized how odd it was that Jared had spontaneously evolved into a new person. The dream ended with me no longer needing to assist the patient and going home with friends. It was a very unassuming ending to such an incredible dream.
